Your Role:
Representing one of the top market leading food and beverages providers, the successful candidate will be responsible for winning new business and managing a portfolio of key accounts along with high margin products to drive profitability and growth. Targeting hotels, restaurants, café, hypermarkets and supermarkets across UAE territory, you will be responsible for all commercial activities of Modern trade and HORECA channels ensuring it maximizes all opportunities for profit and Volume generation. Sourcing the majority of your own leads with additional support from a team of 5 reportees, you'll typically deal with marketing, sales and customer service management. You will be responsible for Customer meetings for agreements negotiations, reviews and marketing calendars and also for liaisoning with Business Units on New products, marketing and execution plans. Buyer - Hirerightt
1. Ensure long term Supply Agreements are in place for frequently procured
commodities, developing / maintaining an efficient portfolio of suppliers, monitoring
these supplier’s quality, performance and risks.
2. Ensure compliance with approved sourcing policies, Delegation of Authority
Matrix, business engagement and Code of Business Conduct.
3. Develop and maintain a global Supply Agreement Strategy.
4. Consolidate and monitor demands and ensure agreements are in place to
support the business.
5. Communicate with Technical Authorities’ in order to develop alternative products
and new suppliers.
6. Monitor supplier market and suggest new suppliers when in need for increasing
competitiveness or when replacing low performing suppliers.
7. Drive registration of new suppliers.
8. Establish and follow-up Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Suppliers and
improvement actions to be added and agreed in Supply Agreement.
9. Monitor use of Supply Agreements across and escalate non-compliance to
Procurement Team Lead.
10. Initiate and implement an Operation Standard Procedure for Supply
Agreements.
