The director of engagement would be responsible for strategy and delivery of the engagement programs for domestic engagement. The engagement programs act as bridge to connect with the local community in a meaningful way. The engagement programs would be delivered through partnerships and collaboration with internal Expo teams and external UAE-wide stakeholders. Main responsibilities for this role include: 


- Overall strategy for developing meaningful engagement programs focused on engaging UAE community both expats and UAE Nationals;


- Develop and deliver projects to engage UAE universities, business leaders and general public. The projects could be direct outreach and/or deeper engagement platforms focused on music, public art or learning;


- Setting objectives for individual programs and measurement of the key KPIs;


- Develop and deliver the UAE Universities engagement program;


- Develop and deliver the ground up community engagement ideas platform including finding ideas, execution, governance and funding;


- Develop the music engagement program involving youth from local schools and universities in the UAE;


- Monitor the sentiment within the community to develop new ideas that could enhance the engagement of different communities within the UAE with Expo 2020;


- Delivery of the engagement projects with help of internal/external stakeholders and in partnership with the outreach teams.


- Managing the delivery teams on individual projects and keeping the oversight role for all events and activations;


- Liaise with relevant teams on a regular basis;


- Draft collateral and content to support the departments work efforts as needed;


- Oversee the management of all suppliers and vendors;

Job Details:
Field supervision and direct involvement on Plant Mechanical activities for installation, commissioning and start up.
Conduct walk downs as required representing the mechanical discipline.
Verification and testing of mechanical installation (Mining equipment; conveyor, rotating equipment, handling equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment…)
Validation of all process, piping and services installation and integrity validation
Verification of automatic sequences (mechanical monitoring)
Validation of equipment identification and their integrity to the P&ID
Prepares formal, controlled engineering documentation (i.e. drawings, specifications, parts lists, interface control documents, test procedures, etc.).
Assist on Mechanical designing and modifications.
Review safety precautions on design.
Should have good knowledge on International standards.
