Business Analyst - Kitopi

Kitopi is a VC backed food tech startup and our mission is to power the on demand food economy. We enable restaurants to scale and expand their food delivery services FAST by leveraging our managed cloud kitchen network. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to help develop innovative new channels of business. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment with agile teams. Your main tasks will include performing detailed market research, opportunity analysis, documenting requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate the system to parallel the overall business strategies. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. 

Responsibilities


• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating requirements


• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing procedures for new business functions
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; establishing project budget. Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Prepare technical data reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group
• Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
• Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to client committees
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
