Responsibilities

-Effectively execute business strategies / policies to exploit the current market demand and generate future demand for products so as to enhance market share and profitability. 

 

-Review actual sales against budget regularly and ensure that the sale is proceeding in accordance with the projection.

 

- Present the companies lighting expertise and company products to Architects, Specifiers, End Users and Contractors outlining features and benefits of the company products so as to achieve maximum volume of sales and margin and fully avoid the switching of specification.

   

- Regularly visit the existing as well as prospective customer to establish/maintain healthy and profitable relationship and to find out their present and future demand to be able to meet them in time.

- Conduct market intelligence survey to keep track of the competitor‘s business policy, pricing structure, discount policy etc so as to support team‘s business strategies to beat the competition.

  

- Explore new avenues of business such as new market, customers, new products in order to expand the field of operation and enhance the volume of sales and profit.

    

- Keep track of the tenders floated by the government, semi- government and private sectors, obtain tender document, evaluate, prepare competitive quotations for the approval of the Sales Manager/ G.M and submit the same upon approval.

    

- Monitor regularly the outstanding debt statement and follow up to ensure collection of the credit in time and in full to avoid loss of money or litigation.

 

 

 

Experience and Qualification:
Degree in relevant branch of Engineering or equivalent Technical qualification.

Credit Controller - Rapid Access

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:


To ensure customer debts are paid promptly and company’s AR targets are met.


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collection of debts in an efficient manner in line with agreed timetables, systems and methods and in coordination with the indoor Accounts Receivable accountants

  • Executing the company’s credit policy within his area of responsibility

  • Prompt communication of issues to relevant parties to be able to facilitate collection, control credit offered and improve future performance

  • Communication of disputed invoices, credit notes required. Chasing to ensure a prompt resolution

  • Ensuring that all documents required to receive payment are correct and complete

  • Weekly reporting to credit manager of positions of all such accounts together with notification of any possible payment issues from the customer

  • Weekly cash collections forecasts

  • Regular visits to customers offices and sites for the delivery of invoices, collecting payments and solving payment disputes

  • Administration of accounts

  • Assistance in producing month end debtors’ information

  • Liaising with sales, hire desk and service departments on all customers related issues

  • Co-ordinate with the advocates for the legal cases and keeps an up to date record of the status of each pending case

  • Bank deposits and withdrawals

  • Other Ad Hoc tasks assigned by Credit Manager or Line Manager

ACCOUNTANT - TREASURY AND PAYROLL

Job Summary:
- Key accountabilities involves payroll, payments, reconciliation and perform other related accounting function within the various financial system.


Job Responsibilities:


Payroll
- Full cycle payroll: Ensures paperwork and approval for all payroll changes is collected, prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll related accounts, prepare and disburse payroll reports.
- Updating payroll accruals on monthly basis – leave pay, Airfare, Gratuity
- Preparation of JVs for payroll accruals.
- Calculation of incentive and over time payment.
- Verification of Full & final settlements.
- Review of employee master in system.


Banking
- To process daily & weekly payments, printing Cheque or setting up electronic payments.
- Verification of all IBAN numbers before online payment processing.
- Liaising with bank for payments related queries, approvals and updation of bank related documents and signatories.
- Preparation of bank reconciliation on weekly basis.
- Verification of interest/ charges debited by the bank for term loan, OD etc.,
- Preparation of JVs of Interest and charges.
- Updation of currency exchange rates in oracle.


Fixed Asset
- Updating and maintaining files for approved CAPEX.
- Preparation of month end reconciliation of CIP accounts.
- Reconciliation of Fixed asset register and fixed asset GL on monthly basis.
- Verification of depreciation charged in the books every month.
- Responsible for asset capitalization and retirement in oracle.


Others
- Participate in various additional monthly closing activities, account reconciliations and assist in audit and tax engagement preparation.

Description



Overall responsibility to manage accounts in the region as well as the local online multichannel players.

\[ Manage sell-in and sell-out for all accounts in line with global guidelines. Support the local Merchandising team in defining the seasonal assortments for the accounts by providing feedback on customer/market needs.

\[ Responsible to facilitate replenishments and ensuring right stock levels to drive sustainable results.

\[ Build and foster strong relationship with customers through regular follow-ups, meetings as well as at sales event.

\[ Lead the acquisition of new accounts. Drive the overall negotiation with new partners.

\[ Orchestrate and drives the overall negotiation with partners in regards to terms and conditions based on the given framework defined by the Global Commercial Management team.

\[ Consolidate all relevant information for new store openings.

\[ Conduct market visits to motivate and train the POS staff, complete visitation reports and optimize the retail execution through KPI's and VM.

  • 3+ years in a similar role
