UAE Amnesty Extension News:
Yes, it is true that the UAE's ongoing visa amnesty scheme is already extended by UAE immigration which officially announced on Tuesday 30th October.

The UAE Amnesty scheme 2018, which began on August 1, was to end on October 31 but due to the request of diplomatic missions in UAE the UAE Amnesty is extended  for 1 month more and expats can apply till 30 November or 1st December 2018.

According to official sources, multiple diplomatic missions in the country had requested the UAE government to extend the scheme to give illegal residents more time to regularize their status from illegal to legal.

There is an extension of the amnesty scheme. An announcement is officially done by Immigration and Ministry Authorities which is already published on Khaleej times, Gulf News and UAE Labours Blog.

Position Overview


The Senior Resident Engineer will represent the consultant (PIL) on the project and will administer the operational functions of the day-to-day activities of the construction supervision on the project He will supervise the work of the members of the construction supervision team to ensure that the project will be completed as per the contract.


Specific Responsibilities


• Act as the Engineer’s Representative.
• Direct supervision and coordination of the construction works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team namely, the Resident Engineers, inspectors, surveyors and materials teams.
• Lead the construction supervision team.
• Manage construction supervision, quality control, financial control, hand over and other site operations.

• Provide claims analysis support, including dispute resolution.

• Chair the progress meetings with the Contractor and report on issues, as necessary.
• Report issues, status and progress of works on site.
