Graduate OR Post Graduate with Cache level 5 Diploma preferred.
The Nursery Manager will take responsibility for smooth and effective day to day operation of the Centre. She will report to the Centre Co-coordinator and will work with the teachers, assistants, nurse, administrators and parents. The following job description is an indication of the role; management may also direct her to complete any reasonable task in line with the position.
Job Responsibilities
• To take part in recruitment and to support a team of staff to meet statutory ratios and include contingency staffing where appropriate, including induction.
• To provide a child-centered environment where children are cared for in a safe, caring and stimulating way that ensures their individual needs are met within a group setting.
• To ensure the national standards for the registration of childcare are maintained always.
• To take responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with all applicable legislation, including Health and Safety, within the Nursery environment.
• To work in partnership with ADEK and Ministry of Education.
• To implement policies and procedures and then to ensure that the Nursery within the framework set.
• To deliver an effective curriculum which includes assessment, planning and evaluation.
