Where Do You Fit In?
We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Airports Airside Subject Matter Expert – Airports & ATM Systems to be based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be the Technical Sales Leader and Subject Matter Expert for Airside Solutions of Airports and ATM Systems which includes Honeywell Portfolio and Partner solutions.
What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day?
· As a Airports Airside Subject Matter Expert, key responsibilities of the position are as follows:
· Support the Pre-sales activities in the regions and project.
· Represent Honeywell at official bodies (e.g. ICAO, FAA, Euro Control, CANSO, SESAR etc.), industry working groups (ICAO, FAA, EASA, etc.) and conferences.
· Analyze the customer technical environment, and establish the mapping of customer requirements to the Product features and roadmap, in order to: i) define the MVC (Minimum Viable Configuration) that will be sufficient for the Product service to go-Live for a particular customer, ii) and to identify potential adaptors that will be required to integrate the Product in the customer environment
· Influence potential customers by effectively understanding how Honeywell solutions can address their business needs, operational concepts and priorities.
· Promote Honeywell advanced concepts and solutions, design and implement cost-effective solution demonstrations or pilot projects in relation with those concepts together with customers/partners and with the support of the team.
· In collaboration with Product Development teams, support the Engineering Manager in defining the scope of work that will be specifically required to configure, deploy and potentially customize the product for a customer.
· Support the Global team through:
· Supporting Sales teams in understanding customer needs and designing/articulating appropriate customer solutions;
· Supporting SDC team by participating in proposal activities including solution design, risk/opportunity assessment, costing and scheduling.
· Support ISC in recruitment, development and mentoring of the delivery partners ensuring suitable team size and skills necessary to address the market opportunities;
· Coordinate, with the various Product Managers and Development Teams, the preparation and delivery of value-generating solutions for regional customers
· Develop a sound understanding of the platform and maintain current, specific knowledge of application domains like ATM and UTM. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies like FAA, EuroControl, EuroCAE, CANSO, SESAR, NEXGEN, GUTMA etc.
