Social Media Officer

We are looking for a very talented, proactive and organized Social Media Officer to work with us on Al Qana, an exciting retail, dining and entertainment waterfront destination in Abu Dhabi.
Al Qana will be the next touristic and trending destination in the United Arab Emirates, and we are seeking bright individuals to join our talented team in order to create a superior visual impact that creates brand relevance, intimacy, and visibility to this exceptional destination.
The role of the Social Media Officer is be responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Snapchat. This includes liaising on daily basis with the agency and coordinating all the internal activities to be covered and fulfilled by social media.


ROLE:


  • Align with marketing team on the business objectives and requirements of the job.
    Coordinate with the Social Media agency team regarding background, objectives, presentation approach and selection of social media.

  • Assist with streamlining company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Snapchat), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communication.

  • Liaising with the agency to ensure that their company profiles are accurate and up-to date.

  • Work with the internal and external teams to implement other channel-specific campaigns.
    Maintain and handle a monthly social media and blogging calendar, and ensure that everything is meeting the deadlines.  Coordinate a competitions/games program and supervise its content through social media channels.

  • Organize blogger/micro influencer visits and accompany them on site, if required.
    Liaise with the agency for site visits for content generation purposes (photo/video shoots, events, visits, etc.).

  • Track and report website statistics while working closely with the agency. Monitor how well specific content performs and what is the flow of traffic coming to Al Qana’s website.

  • Work with internal and external teams to create and send monthly newsletters around content ideas and keys interests relevant to Al Qana’s target audience.

  • Using Google, search on keywords and look at our competitors’ brands for forums and directories that we can sign up to generate in-bound links for our company.

  • Liaise with Al Qana’s tenants on their content, such as upcoming events, promotions or any other relevant news to our audience.

  • Suggest ideas and content suitable for websites, social media, video production, e-mailers, mobile applications and other relevant requirements.

  • Use a wide range of media, including photography and videos.

  • Work and coordinate with Social Media agency, marketers, tenants, bloggers, influencers, copywriters, photographers, creative designers and website designers.
