The Chalhoub Group Emirati Graduate Program
For over five decades, the Chalhoub Group has had a great influence on building luxury brands in the regions, and believes it has the responsibility to positively impact the communities in which it operates in.
Our Emirati Graduate Programme is designed to help create and shape our future leaders by fostering and developing your talent. You will be provided with all the tools required for your personal and professional development by undertaking a journey in the world of luxury retail.
How the program works
The Emirati Graduate Program, is an 18 months development journey, with a very hands on experience. You will go through 3 different rotations, 6 months each, to help maximize your learning, and exposure, while experience different areas of the business and fast track your development.
We have five key development streams that our program operates in:
1. Corporate Services – Corporate Services is the backbone of our business. Made up of experts in everything from HR, IT, Logistics, Finance and Accounting, the team supports the day-to-day running of our business while shaping the long-term future of the Chalhoub Group. Working here, right at the heart of our organisation, will give you exposure to a huge range of projects and business units - allowing you to make a real contribution to our strategic growth.
2. Digital & E-Commerce - Chalhoub Group is on an exciting transformation journey. The aim? Become a hybrid retailer, bringing luxury experiences to the fingertips of customers everywhere. As a digital innovator, with talents in either technology, design, ecommerce or data, your work will challenge the status quo in luxury retail.
3. Beauty - We work with some of the world’s most high-end luxury brands across perfumes and cosmetics to bring luxury to the fingertips of our customers.
Whether we’re introducing the latest fragrance to the market or promoting a new, innovative eyeshadow, we use our expertise to innovate beauty retail and distribution. across the region.
4. Fashion – We are a leading player in the world of fashion, partnering with some of the finest brands in the world to reach admiring consumers across the Middle East. We have a team of experts continuously developing their knowledge and skills in each of the fashion categories we operate in: women, men, children, accessories, footwear, lingerie and swimwear.
5. Ventures - With over 60 years’ experience of the region, we identified gaps and opportunities to create innovative concepts across the Middle East. We operate travel retail services through management of Duty Free shops or concessions, we also have our own luxury department stores such as Level Shoes, Level Kids and Tryano, we collaborate with international brands within the luxury writing instruments and watch industry, and manage concept restaurants in the region.
Learning and development
During the program, you will experience many structured learning and development initiatives. These initiatives will include mentoring and coaching from current Chalhoub Group colleagues, functional training specific to the stream you are in and business fundamental training such as presentation skills, project management, problem solving and decision making.
After the Program
Upon completion of the graduate program, you will be integrated into a permanent role based on your best fit and aspirations.
