Our client is now recruiting for a Customer Service & Logistics Representative. You will be directly reporting to the Customer Service & Logistics Manager.


Position Objective:
Provide an effective and efficient customer service to all internal and external MAQUET Middle East customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products, sales policies and procedures and shipping methods and terms.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following; other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
• Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.

• Raise RMA (Returns Management Authorization) and Faulty Product requests from customers, notifying the 3PL and Credit Control of pending returns.
• Handle and resolve queries raised by Customers, Sales Manager or the Finance Department.
• Prepare tracking sheet (excel) to monitor the confirmed sales orders shipments.
• Provide absence cover to other members of the team.

GENERAL MANAGER – WASTE MANAGEMENT

• Manage the Waste Management Department and ensure services are delivered in accordance with KPI, SLA, UAE environmental legislation and other governing federal laws.
• Formulate Environmental Management Plan as part of the HSE Plan.
• Formulation of all relevant environmental management procedures/methodologies and work instructions.
• Perform Risk Assessments (Activity RA, Environmental RA, COSHH, Manual Handling, HSE) and ensure mitigations measures are in place and updated.
• Manage waste management and cleaning contractors/sub-contractors and other service providers to facilitate the collection of different types of wastes from the UAE.
• Manages and oversees overall contract lead and operations for the group recycling and waste management exiting projects and new projects.
• Direct responsible for workflow, allocation of manpower/assets working with the department
to increase accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Inventory statement to Centre Waste Management Emirates Client Consultation and propose corrective measures for their environmental and waste management issues.
• Ensure contractors are using the Certificate of Compliance/documentation for Hazardous wastes / radioactive wastes as per waste management policy.
• Well versed with Emergency Drills, Risk assessment and work Permit’s to perform and support the routine Operations.
• Reviews terms of recycling and waste management center operations contract and ensures that operations are compliant with contract conditions.
• Selling the company’s services and negotiating costs with clients.
• Generate new business opportunities, extending new business for new and existing clients. Building on existing client relationships via phone, email, and face-to-face.
• Performing and monitoring achievements to set sales and marketing targets.
• Handles the Waste Management Budget and ensure expenses do not exceed the allocated budget.
• Formulate departmental goals and staff objectives, conduct staff performance evaluations and identify training needs and propose a development plan to further capacitate all staff in service delivery.
• Manages, maintains and updates the group recycling and waste management plan. Works with staff, affected parties and projects to maintain and revise the plan as needed, and assists them in understanding requirements and maintaining compliance with the plan and other rules and ordinances. Responds to requests for information and assists with a request for proposal.
• Researches, collects data, prepares, and submits reports related to waste management, recycling, and other waste abatement activities on an as-needed basis.
• Attends meetings and conferences of various local and statewide policy organizations related to the environment, recycling and waste management activities, as assigned. Represents the interests of the Region at these meetings.
