Our client is now recruiting for a Procurement Specialist (Contract role through Manpowergroup)
Job profile will be as follows: -
Pre-bid Activity
Engage with estimating team in their front-end planning during estimation to understand requirements develop sourcing plans.
Sending RFQ to Vendors, obtain / review quotes, requested modifications to the Clients standard /T&Cs.
Negotiate with intercompany/3rd material vendor for price reduction
Driving cost down, having pre-award savings through negotiations/ competitive bids
Post Bid Activity
Renegotiate with 3rd party material vendor
Use preferred suppliers and use volume leverage to bring cost down
Logistics & Expediting Activity
Working with logistics supervisor to be aware about current used freight forwarders,/ courier / warehousing agreements and clearance process.
Supply Chain initiatives
Increase effective utilization and adoption of procurement tool set including e-sourcing.
Track and drive continuous improvement in PO compliance and sourcing efficiency.
Improve working capital/cash flow through suppliers credit facility
Managing Supply chain KPIs as per Annual operating plan
Vendors Evaluation & Rationalisation
Expediting
Revenue support to Operations teams – with the help of Back office expediting support
Invoices Resolution
Meetings with AP team & working with them to release the Suppliers payments
