Senior Engineer – Business Development - Manpower Middle East

Our client is now recruiting for a Senior Engineer – Business Development. You will be directly reporting to the Administrative: Manager, Business Development


JOB PURPOSE:
To assist in managing the O&M bid process for all assigned bids, including the preparation and finalization of the required proposal documentation, assisting towards ensuring the development of a competitive proposal document, meeting the requirements of the respective RFP etc.


Key Accountabilities


Strategy & Plans
• Contribute to the execution of the BD strategy in line with the functional strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departments.
• Regularly report to the manager on the activities of the assigned work, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the activities.


People Management
• If assigned, manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation.


Budget Management
• Contribute to the preparation of the department’s budget and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.


Bid Preparation
• Understand the detailed scope of work & owner technical specifications, assist in preparing clarifications etc., to ensure all the technical specifications are understood and discussed, keeping in mind the best interest of the company.
• Liaise with various internal stakeholders such as PAT, Site O&M Teams, Finance, Legal, HSSE teams etc. for inputs, assumptions, suggestions, lessons learned and feedback and compile all requisite documentation, agreements and internal approvals and other related activities, in order to ensure that the data and relevant documentation is accurate.
• If required, perform site due diligence visits as necessary and provide comprehensive reports to the respective stakeholders
• Assist in coordinating with various functions/ teams, contractors, partners, etc. as required, for their feedback & assumptions and compile the required information and documentation to assist in bid preparation while ensuring it meets the RFP requirements.
• Prepare the O&M Agreement Schedules / Attachments jointly with BD Manager and Other Power BD teams
• Assist in the development of technical and financial bids based on the documentation, inputs and feedback received from various stakeholders, to ensure alignment with the requirements while adhering to quality standards.
• Seek technical input, clarify issues, and communicate with stakeholders the timelines and expectations in order to ensure the O&M package is delivered as per the expected timeline and quality.
• Highlight the key risks, opportunities, recommended equipment partners and contractors, risk mitigation strategies, cost-benefit analyses etc., to ensure all the key elements are raised and discussed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Whenever assigned, attend meetings at various locations (in different countries) on a short notice to participate in the O&M discussions.
• Be the Data and Document Controller for the Department

Electrical Engineer

  • Overview all testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of produced power generators units.

  • Prepare a frequent production progress report (weekly / daily) for synchronization and switchgear works.

  • Supervise and provide guidance to draftsmen and technicians in preparing engineering drawings and installation requirements.

  • Support the Senior Supervisor of Production & Maintenance in managing and handling synchronizing projects for power stations.

  • Design and install low voltage switchgear panels for generator units and synchronizing panels as well as perform all testing and commissioning to the produced switchgear panels.

  • Prepare project studies – as requested by the sales or production departments – including all specifications, requirements and associated costs.

  • Conduct design reviews with customers and make all necessary and agreed-to changes and amendments prior to assembly and completion of projects.

  • Coordinate with clients / consultants to understand drawings and specifications for designing single line diagram, general arrangement and BOQ (bill of quantity) for ongoing projects.

  • Review new projects’ requirements with the Sales Team and coordinate with customers / consultants to resolve any technical issues related specifications and drawings.

Job Summary


 


NURSING RESPONSIBILITIES


 


General Nurse


 


· Receives and endorses patient, takes and records vital signs, renders direct nursing care.


 


· Carries out physicians order, administer medications as assigned, observes patients reaction to medication, documents and checks expiry date of medicines.


 


· Monitors patient’s condition notifies the physician of untoward manifestation of patients and refers laboratory examination.


 


· Prepare patients for and assists with examination and treatments, prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipments, medicines and supplies and ensure the stock of supplied is maintained.


 


· Provide first aid, instruct patients on topic such as health education, disease prevention.


 


· Discharged patients and instructs on proper administration of home medications given to patients.


 


· Make referrals, triage patients, respond to emergency situation.


 


· Charts assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care accurately.


 


· Home Care.


 


Dental Nurse


 


· Settle patient in dental chair and prepare them for treatment, provide patient with PPE.


 


· Provide chair side assistance to dentist during all dental procedures.


 


· Cleaning and sterilizing all instruments after each patients use adhering to company’s policy on infection control, ensure that adequate stocks of materials and instruments are available.


 


· Develop and file all x-rays, ensure all lab work is checked and available prior to patient’s arrival.


 


· Management of medical emergencies during dental procedures gives health teaching to patient regarding oral hygiene.


 


· Ensure patients receive all necessary paperwork and that all forms are signed and dated correctly.


 


· Inform reception regarding appointment and referral of patients.


 


· Switch compressor on in the morning and ensure it is switched off again at the end of each working session.


 


· Infection control policy to be followed and implemented


 


General Task


Monitor the patient from them entering the room, during treatment and as they leave the surgery.
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions for patients undergoing local anesthesia.
Adhere to cross-infection and health and safety protocols to the highest standard.
Write patient notes correctly and efficiently as dictated by the doctor.
Ensure that all equipment is adequately disinfected after every single patient and instruments are decontaminated correctly.
Offer support and reassurance to patients.
