• Lead and guide in developing and updating of commercial policies and procedures.
• Lead the development and maintenance of supply chain operations plans including procurement planning and pre-qualification planning, which involves gathering business/ operating plans from operations and translating them into SCO plans.
• Lead the development of more and new SAP transactions and programs, which improves the procurement lead-time, quality, cost saving and customer service level.
• Lead the establishment and functioning of CD help desk and develop progress report to commercial manger.
• Lead and provide direction in the areas of sourcing and vendor management.
• Propose detailed plans for the areas of registration and pre-qualification, and present approach for implementing these plans for management approval.
• Lead and guide in developing and maintaining the optimized vendor master database.
• Supervise the activity of disposal of assets, spare parts and scrap after they are write-off.
• Review actual usage of materials, identify excess purchases and review justifications.
• Review all the identified applications for various commodities in company operations requirements including materials specifications, and materials standards.
• Recommend in implementing different materials management techniques and procedures in order to ensure that the support services unit are responsible for changing and improving the conditions necessary to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
• Participate with Heads of the departments of the Commercial Division in the preparation and review of business plans in order to meet the divisions objectives and targets.
• Lead preparation of budget submissions for annual operation and manpower requirements. Monitor budgetary expenditure, drawing attention to over budget situations and variances, preparing associated report when requested.
• Supervise the market surveys and spent analyses studies and report the result and recommendation to the management.
• Provide guidance in various related support functions leading to the procurement of materials and services.
• Supervise tender administration process.
• Supervise customer care initiatives and activities
