The purpose of the role of Manager - VSA is to plan execute on the Security Plan (Concept of Operation) for the area the VSA for both the readiness and event phases. The role includes supporting the event operational functions, processes and SOPs.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery for the Vehicle Screening Area during the phases as defined;
- Deliver on plans for VSA to cover all aspects of the security arrangements as directed including; scenario, contingency, Incident Management and emergency evacuation, and others;
- Execute and deliver on Security Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures to support the above;
- Draft and propose SOP’s ahead of future requirements;
- Monitor and manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all milestones are identified and met;
- Oversee training requirements for staff at VSA, ensuring appropriate personnel are trained and briefed as appropriate;
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the VP and Head of Security Operations from time to time.
