Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Report to the Director Al Wasl and work with the functional areas within Expo 2020;
- Focus on the particular operational requirements for the ceremonies and daily productions within Al Wasl;
- Provide direct support for the Director Al Wasl, being able to represent the Director at meetings, briefings and operational activities;
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of Expo 2020 policies and procedures;
- Work with the functional areas and contractors to develop management plans, operational manuals and documentation which will form the basis of the Al Wasl operational plan and knowledge base;
- Support the planning, operations and management of the Al Wasl compound;
- Work with the Al Wasl program manager to manage the master production schedule for ceremonies and daily productions;
- Ensure staff and contractors are aware and abide by Health and Safety requirements;
- Comply and respond to all Expo2020 procedural, administrational, and operational guidelines and instructions;
- Proactively support, and ensure that the Creative divisions are supported.
