The purpose of the role of the Manager – International Participants (IP) is to deliver on the IP Security Program. The role includes support and coordination with the Security, Military/Presidential and Protocol Departments
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Implement security services and initiatives as identified within the Security strategic plan IP area, monitoring progress, and review to ensure effective delivery;
- Implement security initiatives within the IP area as required against plans and evolving requirements to ensure effective delivery;
- Manage IP Security resources to ensure all support services, incidents, and routine logistics are actioned appropriately;
- Manage and coordinate security requirements and programme milestones between internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery. This includes liaison and coordination with the relevant security representatives of each country;
- Report on issues/ services that are not aligned as they arise from time to time, and recommend contingency planning measures to mitigate against these;
- Manage the IP Security programme and insure compliance with all regulations and guidelines and report on any breaches;
- Deliver and support on security initiatives and policies within the IP area as required against the IP and Security Programme;
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the VP or Director of Security.
