General Summary or Job Objective
Under general supervision, work with drawings, specialist software or models and puppets, capturing separate images of each stage of a movement in line with INDEX Media's strategic plan, vision, mission, values goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
- Liaise with project managers and team members to discuss objectives, requirements and reasonable deadlines for the job, interpret their needs and develop a concept to suit their purposes
- 2D drawn animation
- 2D computer animation
- stop frame or stop motion animation
- 3D computer generated (CG) animation.
- Prepare illustrations, rough sketches or layout designs of material, discuss with supervisor and be prepared to make the necessary changes
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Manage more than one design brief at a time, allocating the relevant amount of time while meeting the constraints of cost and time
- Work well in a team, with other designers, account managers, and website designers
- Work to tight deadlines by managing time effectively
