The Hotel Commercial Integration Manager will evaluate and advise on the commercial strategy submitted by the Hotel operator, and will work within set timeline deliverables to assimilate hotel commercial plans into the wider Expo 2020 strategy.
The main responsibilites of the role include:
- Review, evaluate and provide updates on the commercial strategy submitted by the hotel provider pertaining to the onsite hotel;
- Facilitate strategic planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to develop key operational plans as well as develop, create and submit policies and procedures related to hotel operations within the Expo site;
- Develop the cross functional relationships needed to ensure successful service delivery and integration of plans between Expo and the onsite Hotel provider as well as develop hotel room inventory and allocations plan with key stakeholders;
- Review and evaluate commercial operating procedures provided by the hotel operator and ensure integration with site wide policies and also review and update agreements based on scope changes with the commercial legal team;
- Monitor key risks and issues related to the hotel and regularly provide updates to Senior Manager - Hospitality and contribute to the overall project completion of the Concessions team, managing risks, issues and reporting as required.
- Effectively manage the hotel commercial operations with hotel operations departments including rooms division, revenue management, front office, F&B and housekeeping, measuring results and reporting as required;
- Support the Hotel operator in submitting key documents to Expo throughout the planning journey, meeting timeline deliverables and reaching common milestones;
- Support the overall Concessions team in developing creative and innovative solutions for Expo 2020, develop relationships and work alongside key Expo personnel to deliver an exceptional experience for Expo 2020 hotel guests; and leveraging the onsite Hotel to deliver above plan.
