We are one of the largest global manufacturers of biaxially oriented polypropylene films (BoPP), cast polypropylene films (CPP), biaxially oriented polylactic acid and biodegradable films (BoPLA) offering a standard and speciality film manufacturing capacity of more than 500,000 tons.
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the job is to ensure consistent production as per production planning, meeting all production targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To coordinate, supervise and execute the production activities with regards to the main lines & offline so that consistently production targets are met in terms of output and quality.
2. To work closely with the QC manager in order to get direct feedback concerning product quality throughout the whole production process and ensure immediate corrective action is taken in case of deviations from product specs.
3. To support the set up and coordinate the execution of preventive maintenance schedules on the production units together with the maintenance team.
4. To set up and establish safe work practices and regulations in cooperation with the HSE Manager as part of a safety management system, and to ensure full compliance of the production workforce with these regulations for a safe and accident free operation.
5. To set up complete and detailed standard operating procedures for all production activities in the production process from raw material feeding to FG packing management, and document them properly. Ensure their permanent availability and strict compliance.
6. To continuously strive for improvement of the efficiency of the production by optimizing the available resources and technology
7. To derive the production budgets in collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
8. To ensure that the cost of production is not exceeding budgeted level through continuous monitoring on number of resources and the optimization of their utilization.
9. To consistently improve the quality of products with an objective of customer satisfaction.
10. Ensure products are produced on time as per the schedule from the planning dept to meet the delivery time.
11. To set up saving programs to reduce the production cost without compromising on product quality.
12. To work together with the Product Development team in conducting trials according to the changing needs of the market.
13. To liaise with the Procurement Manager in terms of raw material tests and raw material requirements.
14. To ensure accurate, complete and timely entry of production data into the Ti Production system.
15. To co-ordinate with the HR Manager on training, hiring, appraising of the employees of the department as per the growing needs of the business.
16. To ensure compliance of production activities in terms of Hygiene, Safety and Quality requirements, consistently strive to achieve and maintain all desired accreditation (AIB, BRC/IOP, ISO) and to take necessary action as and when required accordingly.
17. Submit consistent & reliable reports and data to the Operations Manager, Finance and CEO as and when requested.
