Description
- Working with the IT Manager and the Technical Operations Director to develop medium and long-term strategic plans in line with the organisations vision, mission and strategic goals.
- Contributes to establish goals, methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes in alignment with the strategic vision, mission and goals.
- Prepares scope and business cases for more ambiguous or complex projects including cost and resource impacts
- Implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projects
- Monitor the completion of projects and implement effective and rigorous project evaluation methodologies to inform future planning
- Plans the installation and testing of new versions of system software
- Investigates and coordinates the resolution of potential and actual service problems
- Ensures that operational documentation for system software is fit for purpose and current
- Develops implementation plans for dealing with more complex requests for change
- Suggests improvement to organisational procedures governing change management
- Leads the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for change
- Apply legal, policy and organisational guidelines and procedures in relation to procurement and contract management
- Develop well written, well-structured procurement documentation that clearly sets out the business requirements
- Monitor procurement and contract management processes to ensure they are open, transparent and competitive, and that contract performance is effective
Profile

- Bachelors or preferably Masters degree in IT or Computer Science
- PMP Certified
- ITIL V3 Certified
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing Business Applications
- Minimum of 2 years managing an IT team
