The Manager for Domestic Ticket Sales for Hotels will engage with all the International hotel chains and individual hotels within UAE to secure ticket reselling and promotion agreements to drive ticket sales from all hotel channels for Expo 2020. This activity will be important in helping Expo 2020 achieve its visitor goals of 25 million visits whereby 70% of the visitors are expected to come from abroad, 30% domestic.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Drive Ticket Sales and meet visitor target goals via International hotel chains, hotel channels, individual hotels and corporate accounts within UAE;
- Build and strengthen relationships with International hotel chains and individual hotels in the UAE to engage hotels and concierges as Ticket Resellers offering hotel-ticket combos and other value-added propositions that will help to drive a high level of visitation for Expo2020;
- Work with Expo 2020 Destination Marketing to educate the hotel management and staff about Expo, to promote the Expo related hotel packages and in the case of International chains, create awareness about Expo 2020 in Expo’s priority markets world-wide;
- Represent Expo 2020’s interests during one to one meetings and at events with hotels to stimulate ticket sales and achieve visitor targets;
- Manage hotel and corporate Reseller accounts for B2B web-based portal ticket purchase activity, promotional kit use, adherence to policies and procedures, payment collection and reconciliation;
- Participate and prepare sales strategies, rolling forecast and budget for hotels as Expo resellers
- Maintain updated and accurate sales development and account management reports and;
- Perform other job-related duties as requested;
