Director Bid Management - ERC Consulting

  • Leading overarching Bid and Sales Operations team to ensure effective pursuit of the sales opportunities from the lead to order stages of the sales cycle

• Institutionalise sales process, tools, checklists, templates, accelerators, knowledge sharing, best practices and best in class bid management practices


• Support in increasing the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team by continuously improving the sales process & policies; and ensuring its compliance


• Act as gatekeeper of Bid / No Bid decision to ensure identified opportunities pursued are in line with ICT commercial strategy and viable in delivery, cost, and operations


• Ensure proper orchestration and review of Consolidated Proposals (Technical Proposal, Commercial Terms, Legal Terms)


• Accountable for the effective monitoring of the sales pipeline and accuracy of information entered into the sales pipeline tracking tool


• Lead the weekly sales pipeline review meetings and follow up on action points per opportunity to drive reduced lead times in sales cycles


• Resolve issues that arise during the entire bid and proposal process, identifying which can be managed within the team and whichrequire Senior Management attention to ensure accurate, compliant submissions with implementation risks minimized


• Ensure smooth coordination and transition with ICT Operations once orders are in place for delivery and implementation
