Sous Chef - Meshico

We are a group of high-end Mexican restaurants to simultaneously open in three prestigious and upscale locations in Downtown Dubai, The Point (The Palm) and Bluewaters Island Dubai. To leverage our team, we need a Sous Chef and a Junior Sous Chef who will be second in charge to the Head Chef and participates in overseeing the preparation and execution of our delicious
menu.


You will need to be dedicated to the food quality and set high standards for your subordinates. As Sous Chef/ Junior Sous Chef, you play a
critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.


Main Responsibilities:
● Fill in for the Head Chef when necessary.
● Help in the preparation and design of all food menus.
● Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
● Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
● Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
● Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
● Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
● Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
● Maintain a positive and full of energy attitude always.
● Encourage respect and trust with the decisions taken by the Management.
Guest Experience
● As you will be in view of guests you need to ensure positive energy with a smile.
● Greet guests upon arrival and encourage the kitchen team to do the same.
● Obtain and analyse feedback from guests and staff to ensure an excellent Guest Experience.
