We are a group of high-end Mexican restaurants to simultaneously open in three prestigious and upscale locations in Downtown Dubai, The Point (The Palm) and Bluewaters Island Dubai. To leverage our team, we need Chef De Partie who will be accountable for the quality, consistency and production of his allocated section in the kitchen.
You must exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading your team and managing all food related functions.
Main Responsibilities:
● Must have knowledge of all menu items regarding ingredients, method of cooking and presentation.
● Help in the preparation of dishes whilst constantly maintaining consistency by tasting, checking temperature and visual appeal.
● Ensure that your section operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
● Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
● Prepare duty rosters as per established business patterns and occupancy levels.
● Manage and train your staff.
● Ensure that supplies and stock are sufficient and orders are placed timeously.
● Controls wastage and spoilage by keeping it at a minimum and to be aware of the food cost.
● Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
● Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
● Maintain a positive and full of energy attitude always.
● Encourage, respect and trust with the decisions taken by the Management.
Guest Experience
● As you will be in view of guests you need to ensure positive energy and professionalism at all times.
● Greet guests when possible and encourage your team to do the same.
● Obtain and analyse regular feedback from guests and staff to ensure an excellent Guest Experience.
