New Perspective Media, a leading PR, Media and Communications agency, is looking for seasoned Public Relations Manager (PR) Copywriters with solid background in finance to service its growing pool of clients in government, banking & financial services.
Job Description
• Plan, develop and implement strategic PR programs to obtain significant increases in brand awareness and achieve objectives of the organization including its partners and clients
• Identify key media outlets
• Develop compelling story angles
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key business journalists in national and trade publications
• Pitch stories to both national and local media. Achieve highest visibility for in print, broadcast, TV, online and social media outlets
• Write clear and compelling pitch letters and by-lined articles
• Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media
• Identify media trends, news cycles and spin opportunities
• Proactively manage editorial calendars
• Analyze and measure results of PR programs
• Manage budgets and campaign ROI
• Liaise with colleagues and key spokespeople
• Liaise with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
• Collate and analyze media coverage
• Write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;
• preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes
• Devise and coordinate photo opportunities
• Organize events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
• Maintain and update information on the organisation's website
• Manage and update information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook
• Source and manage speaking and sponsorship opportunities for the organization including its partners and clients
• Commission market research
• Foster community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;
• Manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
Qualifications
• 2-4 years relevant experience in public relations and communications
• Strong network of B2B, national business and trade media contacts in the UAE and Middle East region
• Established relationships with general business, consumer and entertainment trade press/analyst/blogger communities
• Proven successes in both traditional and interactive PR channels
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to both manage and execute programs
• Knowledge of international publications and opportunities is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Solid writing skills (writing samples may be sent along with your resume)
