Research & Insight is a crucial part of our client’s success, with all their work being backed by unparalleled social insights via their global R&I capabilities. As a Performance Analyst/Research & Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for managing data, designing, analyzing and reporting for their offerings. You will be responsible for understanding consumer mindsets through ongoing and ad hoc projects and creating insights to support the strategic needs of the client servicing and media team.
The focus of this role is in data assimilation and creating actionable insights that serve to drive informed decision making. The insights will include opportunities and recommendations for best practice sharing, client engagement, and growth that will improve the overall brand performances.
Description:
• Collect, analyse and share industry data/updates/stats/platform updates/findings with agency stakeholders on a weekly basis
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, using a range of data from social and digital media, search, and traditional desk research
• Analyse and report performance across campaigns as a part of the media team to support client deliverables and new business pitches
• Support agency-wide with reporting templates and tools
• Ability to craft and analyse reports like social channel performance competitive benchmarking, social media listening etc
• Deliver monthly/quarterly performance reports for brands' owned social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube) and recommend best practices
• Creating comprehensive, story-focused reports that provide meaningful and actionable insights
• Work closely with the account teams to create social insights into audiences, brands or industry categories, to drive creative strategies and executions
• Management, execution, and delivery of regular and ad-hoc reporting by planning research analysis and project timelines based on client objectives
• Contribution to research projects for new and existing clients (e.g. through focus groups or trend analysis); understanding different consumer mindsets and applying the findings to clients’ business challenges
• Competitor benchmarking and landscape analysis
• Trained in query building, keyword research, as well as the use of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Socialbakers
• Help brands set KPIs for measuring the success of their social media campaigns against primary business objectives
• Influencer identification for brands to partner with
• Maintain relationships with regional advertising/communications industry media to share agency updates and insights with the aim of getting published
