• Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design.
• Responsible for encouraging and inspiring design team to produce their best work using their full flair, experience, resources and talents in a cost effective way.
• Responsible for attending & coordinating department meetings.
• Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.
• Responsible for collaborating with other departments
• Responsible for delegating and reviewing team assignments
• Responsible for conducting team training on new business guidelines or design developments.
• Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales
• Responsible for creating innovative designs, drafts, or presentations.
• Responsible for meeting customer expectations.
• Responsible to ensuring design quality and that design directives are followed.
• Responsible to be a part of audits and implement recommendations for improvement.
