As a team member Compliance of dunia, you will be expected to ensure that dunia consistently maintains the highest standards of compliance across all aspects - regulatory compliance, compliance to our credo, compliance to our shareholders, compliance with treating our customers fairly, compliance with treating our employees fairly; compliance to maintaining the highest standards on business practice (which can/must be higher than the minimum stipulated by law). In order to facilitate this, you will develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures required to comply with various local and international legal and regulatory frameworks including but not limited to KYC, AML, CFT, other requirements such as Labor law and compliance with best practice governance requirements such as Business Practice and Vendor Management.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following


Risk management and governance standards with 100% compliance on all regulatory requirements and strong control standards.


Proactive involvement with all work units using a hands-on approach to ensure that compliance is built in as a culture in the company and is consistently followed. Compliance should take the lead and build this culture while facilitating good business growth.


Collaborating with the senior team and others (upwards, peers, downwards, and externally with partners and regulators).


Facilitating Dunia employees to understand and realize that compliance is part of the company’s culture and that it is everyone’s responsibility.


Ensure delivery of key Training sessions on Compliance to the targeted audience.


Policy and Procedure Management –defining, communicating, confirming and training people on all relevant policies and procedures in adherence to requirements above and in consultation and collaboration with peers.


Compliance monitoring – ongoing measuring of the state of compliance across the organization: developing a “windows on risk” and sharing with CCO and management team for tracking and correction.


Monitoring the effectiveness of controls put in place as a result of controls reviews and risk assessments done through the RCSA Quality Assurance process for each identified department and function of Dunia.


Designing and implementing adequate controls in order to conduct businesses and function in accordance with the rules, and our policies. Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory requirements in products and processes.


Compliance Manager together with Chief Compliance Officer will be one of our key interfaces with the regulators and would need to keep abreast of the new regulations from time to time and ensure compliance and best practices.


Report to the senior management team on a regular basis and present status reports of compliance status and emerging concerns
