Quality, SHE & Regulatory Affairs Assistant
Job Summary / Overall Purpose:
This individual will provide administrative support for the Quality/SHE/Regulatory & Supply Chain functions in maintaining and maturing our integrated management program.
Key Accountabilities
1. General Requirements
Performs administrative support tasks for a specific function, project, or organization within Supply Chain & Operations
Gathers, collects, records, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources
Reviews and analyzes data and information and reconciles report discrepancies
Uses common office software and proprietary software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables and graphs; to review status of projects and budgets; and to create presentations
Assists in implementing and administering Roche Diabetes Care policies, procedures and programs and provides guidance, interpretation, and administrative assistance on a wide variety of procedures to stakeholders
Other requirements as appropriately identified by the supervising manager
May design processes to enhance workflows as required
2. Quality, SHE & Regulatory
Sort and classify information according to guidelines
Add material to file records and create new records as necessary (electronic and/or paper based)
Eliminate outdated materials, destroying or transferring to inactive storage according to guidelines or requirements based on COREMAP (Roche Guidelines on Document Retention)
Assist with the organization and maintenance of paper and electronic records, including intake information and programmatic changes
Assist stakeholders in reading & analyzing documentation according to quality, SHE and/or regulatory requirements
Follow up on the SHE Risk Assessments and Control Measures, (follow up on action items and programmatic changes)
Assist in following up with the Facility specific SHE requirements and action items and update requisite reports and or records accordingly
Other requirements as appropriately identified by the supervising manager
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strengths must include effective project management and interpersonal skills to facilitate the work of cross-functional and inter-departmental team, and effective written and oral communication skills
Practical working knowledge with MS Office applications.
Excellent influencing skills, are persuasive, and don’t give up when facing resistance
Able to stay calm during crisis, analyze the situation, decide and respond accordingly
High level of integrity
