JOB PURPOSE
To manage the origination, structuring and execution of syndicated loans to support targeted business growth as per assigned budget
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Relationship Management: Coordinate with Investment Banking senior management to manage client relationships and maintain contact with key banks and other sources of market intelligence to secure transaction referrals and support targeted business growth
Transaction Origination and Structuring: Manage the origination, underwriting and structuring of profitable syndicated loan transactions to achieve successful financial close Develop ‘new to bank’ and ‘new to client’ products; create pitch books; undertake pricing comparable and coordinate with relationship managers to jointly pitch and win mandates
Transaction Management and Execution: Draft, review and negotiate term sheets, mandate letters, invitation letters, information memorandums and other documents relating to syndicated loan transactions to ensure effective execution of deals
Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
Self-Management: Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance
Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
