Communication and Marketing officer - UTC Building & Industrial Systems

1. Plan and execute activities to maintain and improve employee engagement through various in-house media vehicles in concert with corporate efforts and guidelines.
2. Manage protocol activities including customer and V.I.P. relations efforts, including arrangements for occasional and social functions for current or prospective customers and other dignitaries and officials and provision of promotional services.
3. Produce high quality written material including researching, copy writing (news and features), editing and proof reading.
4. Building strong journalistic contacts locally and regionally
5. Creates opportunities to share market news and updates, key initiatives, business priorities and topics with employees.
6. Researches industry trends (e.g. through networking, benchmarking, industry publications and contacts) to determine new methods for information sharing, message delivery and employee engagement.
7. Establishes and tracks results to gauge communications programs' effectiveness
8. Project planning and management for customer and V.I.P event, including budgeting, monitoring against plan, managing event agenda, layout, activities, venues and suppliers for an event to ensure they are properly booked, organized and accounted for.
9. Support corporate national and local advertising involving company products to provide information, pictures, ideas and other assistance and to maintain continuity.
10. Provide corporate investor relations function with information and material necessary to enhance company image and clarify questions of investors or financial community.
11. Direct and monitor preparation of photographs, motion pictures and related items required to increase the effectiveness of community and customer relations projects and marketing support activities.
12. Provide expertise and assistance to senior management in preparing high-level presentations for Partners, prime commercial customers and corporate officers.
13. Prepare and review speeches and reports of company personnel prior to deliverance or release to monitor adherence to company and corporate policies and to ensure compliance with government security regulations.
14. Work with and assist corporate HR and Employee Communications Department in the fulfillment of its program within the company
15. Lead the development and maintenance of company websites, intranets, portals, etc.
