Title: Head of Credit Portfolio Risk
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Reporting: Chief Risk Officer
Responsibilities:
- The overall purpose of the role is to formulate and lead the execution of the Credit Portfolio Risk strategy. This includes reviewing and updating the associated policies and procedures of the Credit Risk function and ensuring that the credit processes within the Bank operate effectively and efficiently.
- The position is also required to lead a small team and is charged with the responsibility to provide the Chief Risk Officer and Management with "insights of significance" that influence decision making towards credit risk opportunities and issues at an enterprise, portfolio and segment level.
- The role provides timely, accurate and meaningful reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, Credit Committee and other key stakeholders with respect to credit portfolio risk management of the Bank, this includes forward forecasting of all key metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements:- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in credit risk department
- Strong experience in Credit and / or Credit risk data analytic
- Some experience in Credit Administration and Trade Finance functionality would be an added advantage
- Excellent in MS Excel skills & MS Office
