- Prospects for new customers, develops new business, targets key prospects, and retains business
- Presents and discusses the products and services of the company
- Develops sales strategy in conjunction with management and identifies joint marketing opportunities where applicable
- Develops rapport with prospects and builds relationships with customers
- Attends daily sales meetings and keeps manager aware of special order deadlines and finishing requirements to ensure the most efficient delivery schedule possible
- Attends sales meetings to discuss outstanding quotes and review the targeted account plan, new customer work orders, and other outstanding issues
