Job Purpose
To implement and maintain a proactive physical security, health and safety programs to ensure that the Al Tayer Motors facilities are adequately protected against physical security and safety threats and risks related to people, premises and assets
Roles and Responsibilities
\[ Implement and monitor HSE management programs, processes, practices, guidelines and emergency preparedness, disaster response and business continuity plans that are aligned to and based upon international best practice in coordination with the various department heads so as to mitigate health, safety and environmental risks relative to the various industry segments that the company operates within
\[ Ensure that all incidents relating to Security and HSE management (incident, accidents, near misses, potential civil claims & workman‘s compensation claims) are promptly reported, escalated, investigated and resolved as dictated by policies and procedures defined by Corporate Policies and Group Risk Management function
\[ Extract, analyze and interpret data relating to incidents & accidents so as to identify new and emerging threats, identify root cause, problematic sites/areas and present to management a consolidated view of HSE issues, threats and risks together with recommendation on how to best mitigate the same through effective and appropriate resource allocation and utilization of physical, electronic and procedural controls, in the most cost effective manner
\[ Implement the Corporate HSE framework and methodology that ensures a regular review of the status and efficacy of occupational health & safety programs and practices relevant to all Al Tayer Motors sites, so as to ensure that gaps, legal non-compliance and HSE threats & risks are identified , mitigation & remedial actions are promptly communicated to, and implemented by concerned departments
\[ Ensure that the physical security processes, procedures and systems that are in place comply with Company Policy and standards and that these are effectively utilized to mitigate security and operational risks inherent to key business activities conducted by the organization
\[ Conduct regular Security and Health and Safety reviews in compliance with all relevant company policies
\[ Facilitate approved in site training sessions for all site based employees to improve their effectiveness
\[ Investigate incidents relating to breaches of Security as well as Health and Safety in a timely manner, create investigation reports with findings and recommendations
\[ Supervise all third party security providers deployed across Al Tayer Motors sites and liaise with Group Asset Protection in case of recommendations for improvement and/or non-compliance with contractual terms & conditions and Service Level Agreements
\[ Ensure proper controls are implemented for all security systems (i.e. CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Traffic Control Systems) and that these are effectively utilized and maintained at all times
\[ Manage and oversee the Enterprise Access Control System ensuring that access profiles are effectively administered and maintained and that access breaches are investigated and escalated
\[ Monitor processes relating to the movement of inventory between distribution centre and depot‘s with a view to validating the accuracy of inventory transfer‘s and investigating discrepancies
\[ Liaise with the Corporate Asset Protection Department and provide all compliance related information as required by the Corporate Asset Protection Policy
\[ IMS (Integrated Management System) maintenance to keep the certification five ISO Standards at it’s best level of performance
