To coordinate and manage the maintenance PM program requirements for the Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) as per the regulatory requirements, operating policies and principles, nuclear standards for nuclear safety, employee safety, and environmental protection, to ensure overall program performance is maintained within international nuclear standards.
1. Work Management
Responsibility:
- Ensure that all work carried out is of the highest standards of safety and quality, and in compliance with the department and company-wide quality assurance program, in order to effectively support safe and reliable plant operation.
- Support continuous learning and application of industry best practices in order to maintain the highest quality of maintenance workmanship.
- Promptly report maintenance PM Program quality related issues and plant equipment deficiencies to line management.
- Evaluate quality of History records and report to Head or Manager.
- Promptly report maintenance quality related issues and plant equipment deficiencies to line management.
- Work closely with work management and training department to search for improvement initiatives and engage staff to address deficiencies.
- Support recruitment of App-U maintenance staff to ensure timely implementation of App-U training program
- Monitor and mentor App-U maintenance staff to ensure their sufficient and efficient capacity building and career development throughout the training program of the App-U training and OJT Al Barakah NPP Site
- Support establishing BNPP maintenance PM Program agreements
- Ensure work is planned and executed in a manner that results in radiological exposure being as low as reasonably achievable
Ensure online and Outage Plans are optimised and lessons are incorporated.
2. Maintenance PM Program Development and Operations
Responsibility:
- Establish PM program expectations and provide support to plant activities to reinforce program expectations.
- Conduct regular visits to the plant facilities to verify and validate PM Data and optimize data collection and enhancement.
- Lead efforts to ensure Maintenance PM Program are ready for Fuel Load and Substantial completion of units.
- Implement the necessary nuclear power plant management systems (OMS, ICMS, MTES, SAP) to establish and maintain continuity in all plant activities. Liaise with other departments and program owners.
- Review and or approve Maintenance PM Program procedures and communicate expectations with Plant counterparts.
- Oversee and mange maintenance PM program Implementation and ensure updating of the station Schedules.
- Ensure specific contracts supporting Maintenance PM Program are raised and provide regular review of contractor compliance to maintenance standards.
- Establish standards history recording and Maintenance Online and Outage Work Management.
- Perform technical administrative activities as assigned by Maintenance Program Manager.
- Perform review of the Master Data and correct anomalies as and when required
- Ensure correct uploading of Work Instruction information
Implement and verify that correct details of BOM are efficiently recorded and trend BOM status.
3. Quality Assurance
