Head of Maintenance PM Program - Nawah

Provide Maintenance PM Program leadership throughout the planning, execution and post close-out phases of maintenance program activities for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) as per the regulatory requirements, operating policies and principles, nuclear standards for nuclear safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection, to ensure overall business performance objectives are achieved.  This position will provide governance and oversight to the Preventive Maintenance organization to ensure compliance to the FSAR and FANR regulations.


 


1. Maintenance PM Program Delivery



Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Review and implement Maintenance procedures and model work orders.
• Assess data accuracy and identify required procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in populating PM Program data.
• Provide oversight and governance of the Maintenance online plans
• Prepare and update maintenance function operational readiness program documents schedules and tools regularly and present updates on progress and challenges to regulators, international review bodies and BNPP management.
• Prepare for WANO and IAEA pre-start up peer reviews in regard to the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Implement, track and manage all PM program indicators and provide updates to maintenance management.
• Perform oversight of the maintenance program necessary for outages.
• Provide leadership for maintenance PM program implementation.
• Ensure compliance of the Preventive Maintenance program aspects performed by contractors
• Attend critique and production meeting.
• Provide oversight of the Bill of Material aspects of the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Monitor Maintenance Work Management (WM) targets.
• Update the OMS data and make corrections as required.
• Review maintenance history quality and record keeping to ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform oversight of maintenance statutory compliance (ISI, IST, PM, PdM, etc) and trend results.
• Optimise Maintenance PM Program.
• Chair PMOG, Manager Maintenance Work Management Processes.
• Assist WM to optimize online/ outage activities and major components.
• Update planning training as required.



2. Staff Training and Qualification
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Set management expectations and communicate with department to ensure high level of safety and reliability of plant systems, structure and components.
• Monitor and coach to improve performance.
• Evaluate performance of individual staff to develop necessary training.
• Ensure training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills.
• Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance.



3. Stakeholder Engagement
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Mentor, both internally and externally, individuals associated with the Preventive Maintenance program to continuously improve resulting in regulatory margin.
• Provide oversight of the Preventive Maintenance program and provide direction to applicable parties.
