Finance Manager - Noor Bank

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the NewCo's fiscal function and performance.
• Participate in the development of the NewCo's plans and programs.
• Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO/President, the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• Represents the finance department on the regular department heads meeting/s with the CEO/President.
• Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable and department budget.
• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
• Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the NewCo; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments.
• Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the NewCo may enter.
• Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
• Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
• Reviewing all ledger details and validating proper payment and revenue posting.
• Review the postings, payments, revenue and guest balance reports
• Ensure correct taxation are applied on all billing software
• Bills A/R accounts daily and send the same along with the supporting bills and statements.
• Review the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Ageing reports
• Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
• Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
• Maintains files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
• Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as required (based on delegation).
• Performing numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions.
• Working with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit.
• Effectively manage the accounting team through respectful communication, clear expectations, relevant training, productive coaching, regular meetings, and appropriate performance management.
• Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities.
