مجھے اپنے ضبط پہ ناز تھا سر بزم رات یہ کیا ہوامری آنکھ کیسے چھلک گئی مجھے رنج ہے یہ برا ہوامری زندگی کے چراغ کا یہ مزاج کوئی نیا نہیںابھی روشنی ابھی تیرگی نہ جلا ہوا نہ بجھا ہوامجھے جو بھی دشمن جاں ملا وہی پختہ کار جفا ملانہ کسی کی ضرب غلط پڑی نہ کسی کا تیر خطا ہوامجھے آپ کیوں نہ سمجھ سکے یہ خود اپنے دل ہی سے پوچھیےمری داستان حیات کا تو ورق ورق ہے کھلا ہواجو نظر بچا کے گزر گئے مرے سامنے سے ابھی ابھییہ مرے ہی شہر کے لوگ تھے مرے گھر سے گھر ہے ملا ہواہمیں اس کا کوئی بھی حق نہیں کہ شریک بزم خلوص ہوںنہ ہمارے پاس نقاب ہے نہ کچھ آستیں میں چھپا ہوامجھے اک گلی میں پڑا ہوا کسی بد نصیب کا خط ملاکہیں خون دل سے لکھا ہوا کہیں آنسوؤں سے مٹا ہوامجھے ہم سفر بھی ملا کوئی تو شکستہ حال مری طرحکئی منزلوں کا تھکا ہوا کہیں راستوں میں لٹا ہواہمیں اپنے گھر سے چلے ہوئے سر راہ عمر گزر گئیکوئی جستجو کا صلہ ملا نہ سفر کا حق ہی ادا ہواhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKS4pQVnR-ESee More
