Recognize competent subordinate’s worthy of promotion and be abreast of position vacancies to ensure staff progression. Conduct project meetings, bi-weekly or monthly as needed. Ensure that the project is in a positive cash flow position and prepare Project Manager Reports accurately and timely for submission to the management.

We have the requirement for an experienced SENIOR DELAY/CLAIM ANALYST / FORENSIC PLANNER to join our Mumbai office on a fulltime, monthly salaried/retainer basis. The role will work on our own initiatives and projects including Oil & Gas EPC’s and sub Contracts based at Gulf Countries. You should have good communication in English (written and spoken) plus an appropriate construction related Degree. Any additional qualification in construction law, contracts management, claim, risk, forensic planning, project management, etc. will be an advantage. You will need to be fully proficient in the use of Primavera P6 to deal with the assessment of the impact of variations on the program. You will also need experience of critical path analysis, report writing and have a good eye for detail to be able to investigate why the program of a project has become delayed. It is essential to have previous experience of delay and ideally have experience of doing report writing and expert reports and possibly some expert witness work etc. plus good all round knowledge of construction technology. Experience gained working for main contractors doing delay or with another firm of claims/dispute consultants. You will need excellent client facing skills and be able to work either on your own initiative or as part of a team. You must have a stable work record. We are only interested in people who have worked extensively as Delay Analysts / Forensic Planners they are NOT seeking people who have mainly worked as a Planner having done a bit of delay.

Profile- Master's Degree in Business Administration (or similar); Additional Master's Degrees in Analytical Disciplines, Economics or Statistics are an advantage
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in C-level advisory roles or divisional leadership within corporate or strategic management consulting
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills - ability to structure decision trees and develop a high-level assessment of situation-issues-solutions prior to in-depth data gathering and testing to validate the hypotheses
- Proficient in use of MS Office and Statistics programs - Project Management tools, SPSS, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (formal and informal presentations) tailored to large audiences and smaller one-to-one discussions - English Language proficiency (bi-lingual business Arabic skills are an advantage though not a requirement)
