حضرت ابراہیم ؑ ایک طویل عرصہ تک اولاد جیسی نعمت سے محروم تھے کیونکہ آپ کی بیوی حضرت سارہ ؓبانجھ اور حضرت ابراہیمؑ  کی زندگی میں اولاد کی کمی پوری کرنے سے قاصر تھیں، آخر حضرت"ھاجر" کے ذریعہ حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کی زندگی کی کمی پوری ہوئی اور اللہ تعالی نے انہیں حضرت اسماعیل ؑ سے نوازا ۔ ایسی صورتحال میں حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کی اپنے بیٹے کے ساتھ محبت واشتیاق میں ایک خاص قسم کی جھلک نمودار ہوتی تھی، کیونکہ آپ کئی سالوں کے انتظار کے بعد صاحبِ اولاد ہوئے تھے، حضرت اسماعیل ؑ بھی باپ کی ایسی خاص محبت وشفقت کے سائے میں پروان چرھنے لگے پھر اچانک خداوند کی طرف سے حکم ملا کہ اے ابراہیم ؑ اپنے بیٹے اسماعیل ؑ کو خدا کی راہ میں ذبح کرو۔حضرت ابراہیمؑ  کو پروردگار کی طرف سے حکم ملا کہ وہ اپنے اکلوتے فرزند حضرت اسماعیل ؑ کو خدا کی راہ میں قربان کریں، آپ ؑ نے اللہ تعالی کا یہ حکم پاتے ہی اپنے بیٹے کو ساتھ لیا اور قربان گاہ کی طرف چل دیئے۔جب حضرت ابراہیمؑ اپنے اکلوتے اورفرمانبردار  بیٹے کو قربانی کی جگہ لے جارہے تھے توراستہ میں شیطان ایک بوڑھے آدمی کی صورت میں ظاہر ہوا اور نصیحت کرنے والے انداز میں کہنے لگا: اے ابراہیم، آخر تم اپنے بیٹے سے کیا چاہتے ہو؟حضرت ابراہیم ؑ نے فرمایا: میں چاہتا ہوں اُسے خدا کی راہ میں قربان کردوں۔اُس(شیطان) نے کہا: واہ، کیا تم اپنے اس بیٹے کو ذبح کرنا چاہتے ہو  جس نے پلک جھپکنے کی دیر کیلئے بھی اپنے خدا کی نافرمانی نہیں کی؟!حضرت ابراہیم ؑ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالی نے مجھے اس کام کا حکم دیا ہے۔اُس(شیطان) نے کہا: ایسا ہرگز نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ صرف ایک شیطانی الہام تھا اور شیطان ہی نے تجھے ایسا کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔حضرت ابراہیم ؑ برہم ہوئے اور فرمایا: وائے ہو تجھ پر، جس نے مجھے مقام نبوت سے ہمکنار فرمایا ہے اُسی نے مجھے اس کام کا حکم بھی دیا ہے۔بوڑھے آدمی(شیطان) نے دوبارہ اپنی بات تکرار کی تو حضرت ابراہیم نے اُسے پہچان لیا اور اپنے ہاتھوں میں کچھ کنکریاں اٹھائیں اور اُ سے مار کر بھگا دیا۔حضرت ابراہیم ؑ ایمان کی قوت اور راسخ ارادہ کے ساتھ اللہ تعالی کے حکم کی تعمیل میں مشغول ہوگئے۔ جب آپ نے اپنے صابر وبردبار فرزند کو زمین پر لٹایا اور حضرت اسماعیل کے گلے پر چھری چلانے کا ارادہ کیا تو عین اسی وقت اللہ کی طرف سے وحی نازل ہوئی اور حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کو ان کے ایمان، تسلیم اور اخلاص کے ساتھ اللہ کے حکم کی تعمیل میں کامیابی پر رضایت الہی کی بشارت دی گئی۔ پھر حضرت جبرائیل قربانی کیلئے ایک بھیڑ لائے اور حضرت ابراہیم ؑ نے اُسے ذبح کیا۔See More
