We are currently looking to expand our Taste & Wellbeing Regional Frontline Technical Innovation team and have opened a new and exciting role for a ‘Technical Manager - Functional & Nutritional Ingredients’ to focus on some of the vibrant markets in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA) region. The role will be based in our Dubai office in the United Arab Emirates and will report to the Taste & Wellbeing Head of the Frontline Technical team for SAMEA.
As the Technical Manager, you will be an individual contributor and support profitable business growth by creating and delivering best in class technologies and products in the Functional & Nutritional Ingredients (F&NI) space in SAMEA. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
- Technical leadership for the Functional & Nutritional Ingredients (F&NI) segment for the SAMEA region, helping the countries in the region provide superior customer experience through new product development & applications and ensuring business growth.
- Develop functional expertise and knowledge and drive segment knowledge sharing within SAMEA through appropriate communication platforms, training, and governance.
- Support the commercialisation of complex solutions for the regions and collaborate with the other Taste & Wellbeing offerings and segments.
- Be the critical point of contact between the F&NI operations and Sales teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Develop a close relationship with customers at different levels, engaging on critical and complex projects.
- Responsible for assisting the local technical teams across the SAMEA region with resource allocation and prioritisation, ensuring the right resources are available to handle the F&NI customer briefs.
