The first question which may come in 90% of job seeker visa holders mind is ban, either is their a ban or No?
Let us clear it, if you are holding a six months job seeker visa and you have not found a job within given time period which is 180 days or you want to leave the country on emergency or before the expiry of your visa, you can leave the country without ban, yes read it again, their is no ban on residents, expats and visitors who are leaving UAE by cancelling their 6 months job seeker visa.
They can re-enter UAE at any time on visit or tourist visa.
How to Cancel 6 Months Job Seeker Visa:
The cancellation process is simple, holder of job seeker visa need to visit the designated areas (offices/departments) across UAE, you just need a copy of your 6 months visa to cancel it.

For Abu Dhabi (al shahama) six months temporary visa holders, they need to visit Sweihan Police Station.
Cancellation of Sharjah 6 Months Visa:
Expats residing in Sharjah state holding six months visa need to visit the Sharjah Immigration head office which is located near Sharjah Mega Mall and Mobile Roundabout.
For all other states, please visit the main immigration offices.
10 Days Time to stay in the country:
Once you have cancelled the job seeker visa and got Out pass, you will be given 10 days time, please note that don't try to leave within first 10 days of cancellation, in simple words if you have cancelled your visa on first Feb, you need to wait for next 10 days to update your data in Ministry system, you can than leave country on 11th Feb, please do not buy tickets before the cancellation of your visas or only booked it as per the guidance of Immigration officer.
Cancellation Fees of 6 months job seeker visa:
The visa cancellation fees of six months visa is 150 AED which you need to pay cash at immigration counter.
Outpass Fees:
200 AED is the official fees of an outpass which you need to pay cash at immigration counter, and as stated above you will get 10 days of time to pack your bags.
