Senior Project Manager - Pure Water Technology LLC

Description:

Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to an established project schedule with strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle

Typical Duties:

Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Project schedules and forecasts

• Processes project orders from order intake to end of warranty

• Procurement/Purchase orders

• Coordination and checking of deliverables

• Project status reports and change orders

• Manage project budget. Measure, analyze, and present performance metrics of completed projects

Essential Functions:

• Direct and manage project planning and execution from beginning to end.

• Define project scope in relation to scope sold, milestones, and deliverables that support client goals and Technology’s business goals.

• Develop engineering submittal packages and provide to the client and reviewing engineer in a timely manner.

• Proactively manage the engineering submittal process to obtain client approval in a timely manner so that equipment can be released for production.

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and client stakeholders in a timely & clear fashion.

• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

• Estimate the materials, labor, and resources needed to achieve project goals.

• Create or direct the creation of purchase orders to procure equipment, parts or components.

• Recommend budget changes where necessary, draft change orders and submit for approval as required by current company policy.

• Determine 3rd party vendors or staffing required to successfully complete the project.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel as needed to complete the project.

• Identify and resolve issues within the project team.

• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.

• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

• Track project milestones and deliverables.

• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as required.

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

• Obtain from the client a confirming written change order for any significant change in project scope.

• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.

• Coach, the mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

• Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

• Conduct completed project analyses and create a recommendations report that identifies successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

• Prepare and submit written quarterly status reports for high-value and extended schedule projects.
