Our client, a college based in Dubai which specializes in higher education is looking to recruit French-speaking Faculty for Full time Professor profiles for their Dubai campus, for teaching positions in
- Department of Business Management
- Department of Hospitality
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Teaching, Lecturing Delivery content preparation & student handouts creation.
- Complete ownership of the academic delivery of the subjects assigned.
- Exam paper correction, internal assignments assessments, moderation of exam, etc exam and assessment related activities
- To coordinate with each student of the assigned programs, on a daily basis and handhold them to achieve academic success and chart the right career path in their chosen domain while acting as a mentor to the students of the program.
- To ensure students complete and submit assignments on time at the standard of quality expected by the exam bodies, thus ensuring a high rate of passing students in the cohorts allotted to you for teaching or assessing.
- You will act as a tutor, assessor, internal verifier for the programs and cohorts allocated to you.
- You will be fully responsible for the final completion of the course and relevant regulatory and academic documentation and submission with various authorities
- You will be expected to conduct regular feedback sessions for the students and conduct parent teacher meetings to apprise of the progress to the parents and implement improvisations to improve the overall experience of the students and parents
- Complete all documentary submissions for all the modules needed by the university or the awarding body
- Where needed, also assess subjects and modules taught by other faculty members
- Audit the work of the other faculty members of the program which you may be expected to lead
- Make the complete annual calendar for the students, to comprehensively cover academics, practical trainings, internships, events, team building events, excursions, competitions, student clubs; activities, industry visits, master-class sessions, workshops etc. and ensure the same is implemented in letter and spirit
- Be well versed with the Learning Management System of the institution and handle all the program activities through the LMS
- Conduct skill enhancement workshops for the students.
