Main responsibilities
Pre-Sales and Technical Support System Engineer activities are a vital element in the sales and support process for companies offering highly customized, technical, or high value products or services.
The system engineers assist Sales and Business Development team and the Client in making informed decisions on the product during the pre-sales period.
The System Engineer is vital in post-sales duties in providing support services to Clients.
Tasks
· Understand and identify customer needs and create solutions based on the available product offering.
· Commission and implement the products and solutions at client’s site.
· Setup network and servers and implement configurations.
· Implement customizations by creating widgets and basic scripting.
· Support clients with configuration of Networks, Switches and/or Customer Flow Management solution.
· Assist the sales team by preparing technical proposals and analysis reports.
· Participate in the presentation of results to customers if needed.
· Conduct and lead training sessions to Clients.
· Maintain working knowledge of competitor products and how to technically sell against them.
· Respond to customer requirements and their RFP/RFQ.
