ROLE PURPOSE:
Solely responsible for supporting Category Teams & 100% focus on customers. The JH’s main responsibilities include maintaining positive vendor relations & securing the best Service Level Agreement for Drop Ship Vendors (DSV). Aware of product pricing, market trends, tracking purchase orders and managing inventory.
KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Monitoring
- Ensure that customer orders are received, processed and delivered to customers by vendors on time with the right product, service/installation
- Ensure that product is available before customer makes a purchase online.
- Handle customer complaints in a smart manner to decrease detractors.
- Understanding of the merchandising process, product lifecycle and being able to come up with relevant proposals and recommendations for action.
Vendor & PO Management
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers when orders are made in website and stores.
- Ensure that vendors are following the contract agreement and penalize those that do not abide.
- Instil regulations with vendors and suppliers.
- PO, schedule & delivery confirmation, after sales coordination
- Ensuring products are purchased at the right time and specification.
- Following up on orders placed and working close with vendors & the logistics team to resolve shipping/delivery issues and assure the target stock levels are met.
- Coordinating, monitoring and maintaining suitable inventory levels
Ad Hoc & Reporting
- Proactively support commercial, e-commerce team, category development team, fulfilment and store team on their requirements
- Prepare purchase orders and stocks status report
- Establish good relationships with customers and vendors
