Head of Finance
We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and experienced Head of Finance to be responsible for our Accounting and Treasury department with the goal of maintaining our company’s financial health, implementing and maintaining stringnet processes and controls and ensuring we meet all statutory requirements. This is not a routine management accountant role but an operational leadership position responsible for upholding highest standard internal and external reporting.
Responsible for developing and leading team responsible for:
- Maintaining internal controls
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Collecting of receivables
- Maintaining client accounts
- Enforcing HR leave, expense and benefit policies
- Receipt and remittance of cash received on behalf of clients
- Monthly payroll processing in four countries (with the help of external services providers as needed)
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Managing audit requirements per legislative requirements
- Payments processing
- Bank reconciliation
Owner of:
- Monthly consolidation of four + companies
- Monthly cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Developing and maintaining internal controls
- Identification of financial and business risks and implementation of improvement plans
- Relationship with external accounting service providers
- Ensuring all statutory deadlines and legal requirements are met including annual financial statements, employee and tax related matters etc.
- Cash Flow management and forecasting
- Departmental opex budgets
- Profit and loss analysis and improvement initiatives
- Management of teams structure, KPIs and performance monitoring
- Development of team members through mentorship and guidance
- Reviewing accuracy of work prepared by team
- Ultimately responsible for all functions, results and accuracy of information reported by your team
