Introduction
As the implementation phase of Buna, formerly known as the Arab Regional Payment System (ARPS), project picks up momentum, we are looking for a responsible Integration Engineer to join our founding team. Duties of the Integration Engineer include leading the efforts to establish, define, design, deliver and maintain Buna’s integration architecture. The job holder is also responsible for coordinating the various business and technical teams to ensure proper integration and data normalization, both internally within Buna and externally with partners. This position will report to Chief Technology Officer.

Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
1. Develop Buna internal and external solution integration strategy
2. Present to technology leaders and business executives
3. Provide leadership around technical solutions
4. Collaborate with other technologists on creating cross-domain solutions
5. Develop data integration standards and policies based on industry best practices
6. Provide leadership and guidance to other technology teams regarding functional ad technical design decisions of Buna integration platform
Integration Architecture, Design and Development
7. Coordinate directly with business users and technology teams to best understand and analyse business requirements and derive technical specifications
8. Analyse integration requirements to assess implication on design, performance, implementation complexity, risk, and cost of the integration project
9. Design and develop integration architecture of Buna core services
10. Design, build and maintain data integration platform and middleware components of Buna
11. Design and build all Buna integration interfaces (e.g. APIs, webservices, etc.) to facilitate data exchange internally and externally standards
12. Design, build and maintain integration services and processes internally between Buna core systems and externally with external stakeholders using Buna integration platform
13. Research, design, develop, and implement interface security using technologies
14. Support in developing solutions for resolving system defects
15. Create detailed functional solution documentation, integration interfaces technology design and partner ‘how to’ documentation
16. Conduct integration testing and support in UAT of integration interfaces
17. Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions
18. Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes
19. Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors
