About the client:
The hiring company is the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE as it operates 18 branches and two malls. They also launched two grocery chains, a new concept, thereby making it the first consumer cooperative to include a smart shopping concept in many of its branches in the MENA region. Additionally, they offer a wide range of products from food and electronics to hardware and household appliances.
Job Role:
Provide technical support and guidance to current, ongoing studies, analyses and furnished recommendations to potential projects
Advising on best practices, high standards for project implementation and doing the research and introducing the latest energy saving concept and initiatives
Review electro-mechanical concept/detailed design and material specifications as well as providing accurate interpretation to consultants/contractors/sub-contractors on all technical aspects
Conducting technical evaluation of tenders and preparing report according the evaluation carried out
Review all post contract technical documents and providing technical support for the Projects Team and other departments/sections
Attend project meetings discuss the progress of the project and coordinate with the related sections in the department if needed
Supervise installation, material inspections, testing and commissioning of Electrical and Mechanical equipment on site during manufacturing and after the completion of work
Supervise and follow up with electromechanical staff of the department or consultants or contractors, for monitoring and timely completion of project
