This position is only for UAE nationals. The position will be based in Al Ain. The Candidate we are looking for should have a bachelor degree in Business Administration or safet and secuirty . He should have at least 4 years of experience in HSE (preferred in FMCG). He should have NEBOSH Certificate or any equivilant. the total salary Rnage for this role is up to 15,000 AED per month. working hours is from 9.00 am - 6.30 pm including lunch time.
The role purpose is responsible for strengthening consumer KPI of the brands, develop brand activity, launch NPD’s as per plan.
This position is responsible for implementing the safety requirements across the business unit in all departments. The position holder will be responsible for sustaining, reinforcing and strengthening the safety culture.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper documentation, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Health Safety & Environment Management System)
- Monitors the Business Unit HSE performance, and reports back to the Head Factory/ Operations of the status and the need for improvements, if any.
- Develop risk registers, review them on annual basis and ensure compliance
- Provides expert advice and support to the management with regards to the management of workplace hazards and risks.
- Conducts periodic HSE internal audit, inspections, and behavior based observations to ensure that equipment, materials and production process don’t have any safety & Health hazard to employees.
- Initiates corrective and preventive actions in case of non-conformities.
- Coordinates and communicates to all levels and functions of the organization relevant, HSE information, requirements, expectations and results.
- Acts a liaison officer for external party HSE auditors and certification bodies.
- Performs review of HSE policies, procedures, process and other relevant documents.
- Ensure that all staff, contractors and visitors adhere to the safety rules.
- Report and investigate all OHS Incident/Accidents, Hazardous chemical spillage, Outbreak of diseases and equipment damages as per the IFFCO procedure.
- Stop activities which are not adhering to the Health and Safety Requirements.
- Advise the Head Factory/ Operations of all new safety regulation as per UAE regulations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Annual Training, ToolBox Talks and Inspection Plans.
- Train contractors on the site safety rules and ensure compliance
- Ensure compliance with permit requirements of the site.
- Conduct monthly checks on effectiveness of PPE, machine guards and fire systems.
